Health and Safety Requirements If you are carrying out work in relation to lifts and lifting equipment you have to take health and safety issues into account. The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) are responsible for ensuring that regulations have been complied with. Who needs to be concerned ? Anyone with responsibility, directly or indirectly for work equipment and its use, for example employers, employees, the self-employed and those who hire work equipment. Is it law ? Yes.
