JOHN BASHFORD John began his time within the lift industry in 1975, undertaking a four-year apprenticeship with Kone Lifts. Prior to establishing J Bashford & Associates in 1999 he had managerial positions at Thames Valley Lift Equipment, The Lift & Hoist Company and Intermor Engineering. John is member of the International Association of Elevator Engineers, an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and is also a member of the CIBSE lift group. John's hobbies include the occasional round of golf and a pleasant day beside a riverbank attempting to catch fish.
